The Newport International Boat Show (NIBS), one of the largest and most prestigious boat shows in the country, spans over fifteen acres with 6 connecting show sites within historic downtown Newport, Rhode Island. Tech Talks: 3-Hour Hands-On Course

Returning this year are Tech Talks: a hands-on technical training courses for boaters of all experience levels led by ABYC expert and Boat of the Year judge Ed Sherman.

There are 2 courses; “5 Things Every Boat Owner Should Know How to Do on Their Diesel Engine” and “Electrical Systems and Troubleshooting” being offered both Saturday, Sept. 14^th and Sunday, Sept 15^th. Locations of Seminar is at IYRS.

Opening day is a welcomed experience for serious boaters to walk the less crowded docks, board and compare the makes and models of power and sailboats, and spend more personal time with the boat representatives.
