NEWPORT EXHIBITION GROUP RECEIVES THE DISTINGUISHED ‘ANCHOR AWARD’

On Saturday, September 16, 2017 at the annual RI Marine Trades Breakfast, Newport Exhibition Group, producers of the Newport International Boat Show, received the 2017 ANCHOR AWARD for shining an international light on the Rhode Island marine industry. “We were honored to receive this recognition and will continue to promote the Newport Show as a platform for connecting companies throughout the world,” commented Nancy Piffard, Show Director.

The 2017 Newport For New Product winners were announced during Friday morning’s press conference! Winners include Best Sailboat, Powerboat & Product, Edson Awards & more. Be sure look for the Newport For New Product decals and balloons on the docks and in the tents identifying what’s new and innovative in the marine industry as well as the winners of this program.

NEWPORT WOODEN BOAT SHOW

Running concurrently with the Newport International Boat Show, the second annual Newport Wooden Boat Show will take place at the Bowen’s Wharf Ferry Landing Marina and the Newport Brokerage Boat Show will take place at the Newport Shipyard. CONVENIENT PARKING

The Newport International Boat Show offers convenient parking at Easton’s Beach in Newport. A parking pass is $25 per vehicle with continuous, complimentary shuttle service to and from the boat show site (only 1.5 miles). Parking passes may be purchased online only when ordering show tickets.

AVOID TRAFFIC – FERRY SERVICE NOW OFFERED FROM POINTS NORTH AND SOUTH

If you are coming from points south – park in Jamestown, RI and take the Jamestown/Newport Ferry to the boat show. The ferry drops off and picks up at Perrotti Park which is walking distance to the show. For schedule and fares visit: jamestownnewportferry.com/schedules/2017-fall-operating-schedule/.
