In-Water Training for both Power & Sail

There is nothing more valuable than hands-on training to make you a better, safer and a more confident boater!  Freedom Boat Club and Narragansett Sailing School are offering courses in both power boating and sailing all four days of the Show for beginners and intermediate levels, as well as sailing classes for women only.  Registration will begin on June 1st for these training sessions.

NEW EXPANDED AREA: PERRY MILL WHARF DISPLAYS

Just beyond Hammetts Hotel courtyard, you will find additional in-water powerboat displays and a variety of trailer-able boats on land, personal watercraft, bites & beverages, restrooms, extra seating and more!  Be sure to walk over and take in this extra acre of boating excitement!

TAKE A BREAK AND GRAB A BITE!

Take a break and enjoy a variety of food concessions and offerings within the show site. Offerings include Wally’s hot dogs, Castle Hill Inn lobster rolls, Newport Chowder Company clam chowder, Smoke House burgers and pulled pork sandwiches, Ben & Jerry’s and more! Clean Ocean Access (COA) joins the Newport Boat Show as the Sustainability Partner

Clean Ocean Access will be implementing zero waste stations to divert compost and recycling from entering the landfill, bringing education and awareness to boat show attendees, and will also encourage all food and beverage vendors to use compostable and/or recyclable materials. We are proud to partner with COA and have them at the show this year kicking off our multi-year sustainability initiative! See the show site map for the noted recycling/zero waste stations.

NEWPORT FOR NEW PRODUCTS (NFNP)

U.S. Debut of 2024 Boats and Products

Being the first major show of the fall boat show season, foreign and domestic manufacturers embrace the Newport International Boat Show as the place to launch their new boats and boating products. Even better, NIBS is home to the popular Newport For New Products (NFNP) program which, in partnership with three national boating magazines; Cruising World, Sailing World, and Yachting. Industry experts judge each entry on opening day and awards are given for Best New Powerboat, Best New Sailboat, Best New Product – Navigation (including marine electronics), Best New Product – Boat Operation, Maintenance & Safety and Best New Weather Gear (wearable).

WHATS UNDER THE BOHLIN TENT AND ON BOWEN’S WHARF?

The Bohlin Tent, located at the end of Commercial Wharf, is a pleasant retreat from the hustle and bustle of the show and a beautiful place to relax while enjoying acoustic music, delicious food and a cool beverage from Sobieski Vodka, Delicato Wines, Harbor Town Wine, Fishers Island Lemonade, Mount Gay Rum, Narragansett Brewing and Whalers Brewing. New this year – we welcome Dillon’s Gin Cocktail, Harpoon, Newport Craft Brewing and Tequila Ocho.

In addition to boating displays, Bowen’s Wharf will welcome Cutty Sark Scotch Whiskey and Dulce Vida Tequila – serving samples of their refreshing beverages!

CONVENIENT PARKING WITH SHUTTLE TO AND FROM THE SHOW

The Newport International Boat Show offers convenient parking at Easton’s Beach in Newport. A parking pass is $40 per vehicle and is good for any one day, Thursday – Sunday. There are continuous, complimentary shuttles to and from the boat show site (only 1.5 miles) from 8am to 8pm all four days of the Show. Parking passes available for purchase online when ordering your admission ticket.

EVEN MORE BOATS TO SEE…BROKERAGE BOAT SHOW

Running concurrently with the Newport International Boat Show; the Newport Brokerage Boat Show at the Safe Harbor Newport Shipyard has a spectacular line-up of brokerage boats for sale. This show is free of charge and can be accessed by water taxi located at the end of the Bannister’s Wharf fuel dock located within the Show grounds. Be sure to have your wristband on to return to the Newport Boat Show. See the show site map for the water taxi exact location for pick up and drop off! For more info, click here.
