Purchase tickets online in advance to avoid long lines at the gate. Once purchased, we recommend adding to your Apple Wallet to beat the busy network connections on -site. Or have the ticket readily available on your phone.
Once your ticket is scanned, you will be wrist-banded which allows you to come and go through all 6 of our show sites during the chosen day you are attending.
Book your accommodation well in advance as the area gets crowded during the event. Look for hotels or rentals close to the Newport Yachting Center which is the center of the 15-acre show site.
If flying in, the nearest airports are T.F. Green Airport in Providence and Logan International Airport in Boston. Renting a car or using ride-sharing services can be convenient for getting around Newport.
The Newport International Boat Show offers convenient parking at Easton’s Beach in Newport. A parking pass is $40 per vehicle and is good for any one day, Thursday – Sunday. There are continuous, complimentary shuttles to and from the boat show site (only 1.5 miles) from 8am to 8pm all four days of the Show. Parking passes available for purchase online when ordering your admission ticket.
Familiarize yourself with the show layout by checking the map available on our website. Note the locations of different exhibits, display areas, restrooms, and information booths.
Research the exhibitors beforehand to identify the ones you are particularly interested in visiting. This will help you plan your route efficiently.
If you have a specific question on the show site map or are looking for a particular exhibitor, please visit our ‘Information’ booths located on the top of Commercial Wharf and Market Square. Our information staff is ready to assist. For ticketing issues, concerns or other questions, please visit our Show Office located on Market Square.
Newport’s weather can be unpredictable, so it’s advisable to dress in layers. Bring a light jacket, sunscreen, a hat, and comfortable walking shoes that are easily slipped on and off as some boat displays will ask you to remove your shoes before boarding.
Take a look at the show’s schedule to plan your day accordingly. Note the timing of seminars, product demonstrations, and other special events that interest you. Arrive early for popular seminars as seating might be limited.
Prioritize your safety and the safety of others. Follow all safety guidelines provided by the exhibitors and show organizers. Be cautious while boarding or disembarking boats and watch your step on docks, especially during peak hours when it can get crowded.

The Newport International Boat Show offers a variety of food options, including on-site vendors and nearby restaurants. Check the map for designated food areas within our show site and visit DiscoverNewport.org for a variety of dining options in downtown Newport.
We do not have water refill stations on site, but water is available for sale at all of our bars. Please help us keep our show grounds clean and divert compost and recycling from entering the landfill, look for the zero-waste recycling stations on the show map sponsored by Clean Ocean Access.
Each ticket is valid for one day only. No exchange or refunds. This is a rain-or-shine event.
For safety reasons, animals are not allowed inside the show due to safety and health reasons unless it is a certified service animals.
Strollers are not allowed inside the show due to safety reasons. Please Park your stroller in the designated stroller parking area near the Show Office located in Market Square.
